Watts per U

iCore Technology, in Cyberjaya's CJ1, charges MYR 300 a month for 1U with 100 W and a MYR 200 setup fee; its notes run up to a full rack with 1,500 W for MYR 3,300. GB Network Solutions, in the same building, lists 1U with 0.1 kW and 1 Gbps of shared, unlimited transfer for MYR 370. Exabytes asks MYR 381.15 for 1U without stating the power and MYR 1,197.90 for a 12U quarter rack with 0.4 kW. TheGigabit, at AIMS in Kuala Lumpur, charges MYR 395 for a single U with 0.10 kVA plus MYR 106 setup.

Per kilowatt, the 1U offers work out at MYR 3,000 (iCore) and MYR 3,700 (GB Network). Exabytes' quarter rack comes to about MYR 2,995 per kW and iCore's full rack to MYR 2,200. Scale helps, but the bigger point is the allocation itself: the only published full rack in the Klang Valley includes 1.5 kW.
