Brilliant Business Centre, in Tseung Kwan O, lists a 1U slot with 0.5 A for HKD 750, a 22U half rack with 6 A for HKD 5,200 and, in its notes, a 45U full rack with 13 A for HKD 9,800. Asia Host charges HKD 1,000 a month for 1U with a 100M switch port plus a HKD 1,000 setup fee. TheGigabit prices Hong Kong in US dollars: USD 100 for a single U with 0.10 kVA, USD 420 for 10U and USD 682 for a 21U half rack with 1.5 kVA.
None of these cards states kilowatts, so we do not convert them: turning amps into kW needs a voltage and power factor the operators do not publish. Comparing within one card still works. At Brilliant Business Centre the price per amp falls from HKD 1,500 on the 1U slot to HKD 867 on the half rack and HKD 754 on the full rack. Buying the whole rack halves the cost of each amp against a single slot.

Buying in Hong Kong
- Ask for the voltage behind every amp figure so quotes can be compared in kW.
- Compare per-amp prices across sizes: on the published card the full rack costs half as much per amp as a 1U slot.
- Fix the currency before you compare; the same city is quoted in HKD and USD.
- Add setup to the first-year cost: one published 1U offer charges a full month's fee as setup.
